Michael Jackson's Sleestak

Ok so this a year old, but I like it so much I decided to repost it here. In my opinion it still holds up, kind of. How did I come up with it? I was obsessed with the "Land of the Lost" tv show at the time as well as the bad Will Ferrel movie and while listening to "Thriller" the two just merged. Sleestak forever!

Professor Challenger

For a project where we had to do a portrait of a character from comics or literature. I didn't know who I wanted to do because there were so many to choose from, but "The Lost World" was a childhood favorite so I decided to do Challenger and got my dad to model, since he has a beard. Not that long, sadly, but oh well. I also looked at some Clement Coll illustrations for reference.
